Karen Kithan Yau ICLP 2007 has been named the new Executive Director of the Coalition for Asian American Children and Families.

Elizabeth Vega-Lebron ICLP 2007 has joined the Freelancers Health Service Corporation as Director of Member Outreach and Engagement.

Jill Eisenhard LNY 19 is the Executive Director of the Red Hook Initiative. Her organization was recently featured by NY1 for a new project they are undertaking of a neighborhood WiFi network designed by young adults. You can read the article here.

Andrew Frank LNY 23 has been named digital media editor at Chamber Music America. Previously, he was copywriter and content developer at LM International.

John Choe NL 2013 is the Director of One Flushing Community Economic Development Center. They recently launched a community supported agriculture project to ensure access to fresh, locally-grown, organic food to the Flushing community. You can read more about it here.

Tejpreet Kaur ICLP 2012 is the Director of Community Development for The Sikh Coalition. The youth group she works with, The Junior Sikh Coalition, was recently featured in The Wall Street Journal. You can read the article here.

Congratulations to the following alumni: Angelo Cabrera ICLP 2011, Denise Vivar MYLC 2011, Ligia Guallpa ICLP 2011 and Jessamyn Rodriguez ICLP 2007 who were presented with American Dreamer Awards earlier today by Mayor Bloomberg.  This recognition is in celebration of Immigrant Heritage Week which is held yearly at Gracie Mansion.

Melissa Román Burch LNY 18 and a member of the Coro Board of Directors was recently named as the Executive Vice President of Commercial and Residential Development at Forest City Ratner.

Tucker Reed Fellows 2004 and a member of the Coro Board of Directors recently penned an Op-Ed in Crains New York Business about zoning code changes. You can read the article here.
