Elizabeth Berger LNY 4 succumbed to cancer last week, passing away at age 53. Liz had held the position of President at the Downtown Alliance for the past 6 years, she also formerly served as a community board 1 member. The family will hold a private gathering for immediate family and close friends and a public memorial will be planned for the early fall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Liz's memory to Film Forum or the Bowery Residents' Committee. For more information contact abreslau@downtownny.com. Annika S. Holder LNY 20 has left the New York City Parks and Recreation Department, where she was Assistant Commissioner for Public Programs. Annika will be moving to Atlanta to work with their Parks and Recreation Department. |
