DECEMBER

Leading Without Authority: An alumni workshop with Lisa Bing (LNY 16)

Join alumna Lisa Bing for a workshop about influencing your workplace and making change without having formal authority.

Lisa has worked with Verizon, Deutsche Bank, the Federal Reserve, Proctor and Gamble and a host of other Fortune 500 corporations. As president of Bing Consulting Group, she has mentored her clients in leadership and team building and worked with leaders from five continents and 23 countries. December 7th, 6:30pm to 8:00pm

Coro Holiday Happy Hour

Coro alumni will be gathering at the Peter McManus Cafe to reconnect with old friends, meet new ones and celebrate the holidays with other Coro alums. December 13th beginning at 6:00pm

Immigrant Civic Leadership Program Graduation

Join Coro Staff, Staff from the Mayor's Office, One Nation, and The New York Community Trust and other supporters at the graduation ceremony to celebrate accomplishments and welcome participants to the Coro alumni community.  December 8th, 5:30pm to 6:30pm

JANUARY

LNY Coro-Nect Evening "Sector Styles"

Join current participants and alumni for fun, networking and informal leadership development programming at Edelman.  These "Coro-nect Evenings" are an innovation designed to better connect alumni with participants and create ongoing learning opportunities for members of the Coro community.  January 4th, 6:00pm to 8:30pm

MARCH

Fellows Selection Day

Join us at Con Edison's Learning Center in Long Island City and serve as a judge for this fun and unique day-long event.  Your participation and assessment of candidates will support the selection of the next Fellows Cohort.  This is also a wonderful networking opportunity with over 80 judges attending including Coro Alumni and supporters. March 16th, 7:30am to 6:00pm

APRIL

Exploring Leadership Selection Day

Join us at our Coro office to serve as a judge to help us select the new class of Exploring Leadership.  It is a fun, interactive way to meet the young people in our program, EL funders and supporters, and share your feedback about next year's cohort.  April 11th and 12th,  2:00pm to 6:00pm

MAY

Coro Civic Leadership Awards Dinner

Join other Coro alums and supporters as we honor this year's recipients of the Coro Civic Leadership Award.

Exploring Leadership Graduation

Join Coro Staff, family members of the Youth Ambassadors, school staff, and supporters to celebrate EL's accomplishments and welcome them to the Coro alumni community during their graduation at Brooklyn Borough Hall.  At the event, Youth Ambassadors present on what they have learned and what they have accomplished throughout the year.  May 10th, 6:00pm to 8:00pm

Fellows Program in Public Affairs Graduation 

Join us for the Fellows Graduation where you can help celebrate as an audience member or participate as part of the program.  May 24th, 6:00pm to 8:00PM
