Gloria J. Browne-Marshall LNY 10 gave commentary for CNN on the Healthcare case, Thursday, June 28th as well as on AG Eric Holder's contempt of Congress vote, June 29th. Gloria J. Browne-Marshall, an Associate Professor of Constitutional Law at John Jay College in NYC, Director of The Law and Policy Group, Inc., and author of several books on law, is a free-lance journalist covering the U.S. Supreme Court for several newspapers and radio.

Tokumbo Shobwale LNY 15 was appointed by Mayor Bloomberg as the City's First Chief Business Operations Officer. Tokumbo will lead an effort to make it easier for businesses to deal with government as they grow and create jobs. You can read more about the appointment here.

Melissa Cantave LNY 23 has accepted a new position as the Director of Operations at Achievement First Crown Heights.

Kate Krontiris LNY 19  has accepted a new position as the Principal at Reboot, a consultancy that uses human-centered approaches to help leading institutions better deliver public-impact services to their constituent groups.

Yen Le ICLP 2008 is working on a documentary called "Top Spin" which chronicles the inspirational journey of three young table tennis champions as they compete for a place in the 2012 London Olympics. You can read more about the project and view a trailer here.

Gonzalo Mercado ICLP 2008 was named one of the 12 Fellows for the 2012 class of the American Express / Aspen Institute Fellowship for Emerging Nonprofit Leaders.

Stephen Orban LNY 17 recently accepted a new position with the CEO's office of Dow Jones.

Neill Coleman LNY 16 is the Rockefeller Foundation's new vice president of global communications.

Congratulations to Joy Sinderbrand Fellows 2001 and Steve Kastenbaum LNY 17 on the arrival of their second son. Bohdan Kastenbaum was born at 3:50 AM on Saturday, June 2nd. Bo was inadvertently born at home after less than an hour of labor arriving faster than the emergency responders could drive one block.  Mom and baby are both doing well. Steve is still getting over the shock of delivering their baby at home.

Several Coro alumni were honored at the 2012 Neighborhood Achievement Awards: Elizabeth Berger LNY 4 saw her organization The Alliance for Downtown New York win the BID Innovation Award. Tucker Reed Fellows 2004 received the Norman Buchbinder Placemaking Award. Andrew Kimball Fellows 1990 won the Adaptive Reuse/Preservation Award. Sustainable South Bronx, founded by Majora Carter LNY 11 received the Workforce Innovation Award. You can read more about the awards here.
