Coro could not be successful without the help and dedication of our many volunteers. Alumni who volunteer to assist Coro in all areas of the work we do help improve the leadership community of NYC. Coro would like to thank the following people for their service:

LNY25 Economic Development & Housing Issue Day participation: Aaron Koffman (LNY22), Ari Goldstein (LNY 24), Cecelia Kushner (LNY22), Elena Conte (ICLP 2012), Kenneth Mbonu (NL 2012), and Michael Lambert (NL 2012).

Criminal Justice and Public Safety Issue Day Alumni Advisors– Kate Rubin (LNY23) and Nitin Savur (LNY21)

Donalda Chumney (ELC 2013), Director of Implementation, Teacher Incentive Fund, Department of Education for hosting and facilitating the Coro Fellows through an experiential learning activity during their Public Finance Week experience.

Alexander Grashow (Fellows 1998), Consultant for facilitating an adaptive leadership experience with the Fellows.

Steven Redfield (Fellows 1981), Managing Director, Training and Related Services Coro National for conducting a training session on General Semantics with the Fellows.

Coro congratulates the below individuals:

Ronald Rapatalo (LNY20) and his wife Shanita who welcomed Sofia Gabriella Rapatalo born on December 14, 2013 shortly after 7:00 p.m. Little Sofia weighed 6 lbs and 9.5 oz.

Hannah Sholl (LNY17) recently accepted a position as Counsel at Holwell Shuster & Goldberg LLP, a new litigation boutique law firm. She is also expecting her second child in May.

Andrew Flamm (NL 2012) is now Senior Director, Community Development & Rebuilding Programs at Empire State Development.

Steve Sagner (LNY16) is now Principal at A. Sagner's Son.

Savita Bharadwa (LNY25) and her husband Jay welcome Ayan Ishaan Bharadwa into their lives.  He was born at 1:59pm on Friday, Dec 6th, measuring 20 inches long and weighing 6lbs 5oz. 

Nitin Savur (LNY21), Deputy Chief, Trial Division, New York County received the Thomas E. Dewey Medal on December 12.  The award is given every year by the New York City Bar Association to outstanding assistant district attorneys in each of the District Attorney's offices within New York City and the Office of Special Narcotics Prosecutor for the City of New York.

Coro would also like to thank alumni for helping to find qualified applicants for the next Fellow's and Neighborhood Leadership cohorts.
