Kay Sarlin Wright LNY 18 was recently appointed by Governor Cuomo to serve as Executive Vice President of Public Affairs and Strategic Initiatives for Empire State Development.  Read the press release here.

Cristal Rivera LNY 22 has started her new job as Director of Community Engagement, Industry City with Jamestown Properties.  Industry City is having their kick-off event, The Factory Floor, beginning October 19th.  Click here for more information.

Gonzalo Casals ICLP 2011 was recently hired by Friends of the Highline as their Director of Public Programs, Education and Community Engagement, Gonzalo was most recently the Deputy Executive Director, El Museo del Barrio.

Rachel Thieme NL 2013 of the Sunnyside Shines BID and Naomi Hersson-Ringskog NL 2012 of No Longer Empty recently collaborated to bring site-specific art installations at select participating restaurants and throughout the district.

Elizabeth Lee ICLP 2010 has left  the Coalition for Asian American Children and Families after serving as their Program Manager for youth and parent programs for seven years.  Elizabeth will be joining the Internationals Network for Public Schools.

Kate Rubin LNY 17 and her employer Bronx Defenders were named as one of six finalists for 2013 New York Community Trust-New York Magazine Nonprofit Excellence Awards.  Click here to read more about the award.

Leigh Eisen NL 2013 recently returned to work  at the Fashion Center BID from maternity leave after giving birth to a baby boy, Zane Grayson Eisen, earlier this spring.

Marlon Williams LNY 23 of the United Way New York City was recently married.

Garrett Lucien NL 2012 was recently hired as the new Program Director for Coro's Neighborhood Leadership program.  Prior to joining Coro Garrett was the Senior Director of Economic Development at the South Bronx Overall Economic Development Corporation.
